Haven't made a Group 312 Film in a while but here one that I just completed for the theme of Transformation.

Super strange receiving a skull in the mall - but created some dark imagery for my experimental video... here are a couple of the stills.

This was a hard theme. I used illustrations from VintagePrintable.com. There can be many types of pain - physical, emotional, and spiritual. I decided to go with a more spiritual type of pain.

Hopefully not too painful to watch ;P

Created this piece for CIMMFest and also for the screening at Chicago Art Department.  The theme was music and I wanted to treat my body like an instrument and that we all play different tunes on our body.

So some exciting news! A couple of my experimental films will be shown at the Chicago Filmmakers. This is all work that I have done with Group 312 Films, here in Chicago. Windy City represent!!

Here is the November submission for Group 312 Films. The theme for the month was "Secret Cretures"

For the October theme for Group 312 Films was "Threshold". I dealt with the five senses and each limit that we put them through. There is a moment of zen that people can push their limit further with pain. With the blocks I wanted to isolate each part of the body and what is being affected.

Created for Group 312 Films this months theme was "It Can't Be Worse". All footage came from the Prelinger Library. Using the footage to either compliment or criticize each other. The spoken word, read by Charles Bukowski, is from his own poem called, "Genius of the Crowd".

Oh la la! 

The theme for Group 312 Films for August is Oh la la! And here are some of the stills from what was filmed. 

Oh la la has a double meaning.... in French its more of "oh my gosh!" or "oh my!" while in English, it was a more risqué meaning. I decided to play with that double meaning... meaning one thing but it can be another. Below is more of my thought process.
